For the first night all the stops have been pulled out and a tasty line-up is in place in both rooms of the club. Headliner is the one and only Karim - a firm favourite with the Leeds crowd and a personal favourite of all promoters. With over 50 productions under his belt on the likes of Tripoli Trax, Tinrib, Vicious Circle, Nukleuz, Alien Trax, DP and his own Tuff Trax and Do Not Bend imprints, Karim's work rate seems ever increasing. From the Liquid Rooms in Tokyo to the Ministry of Sound in London, Karim's unmistakeable character has ignited dancefloors all over the world. This is a rare opportunity to witness an amazing THREE HOUR SPECTACULAR from the man himself. Unmissable. Couple this with an exclusive back to back, never done before set from Paul Maddox and DJGRH - most notable for their collaboration and much-discussed 'New York, New York' debut on Tidy Trax. This itself will be a TWO AND A HALF HOUR EXTRAVAGANZA. Paul and Gary have both worked tirelessly and risen to fame in recent time, with Paul taking the production alley and Gary working solidly as a DJ. Both are known to push their relevant boundaries and 'New York, New York' epitomised their contribution to the scene. Further production work on Tidy Trax looks like taking the label to a new stance and we can expect the weird and wonderful from Paul and Gary for this appearance. Residents Ade Rippin, el_captino and Will Graney make up the rest of the Room 1 line-up in what promises to be an afternoon for the headstrong. However, headstrong is not only the order of the day. Indeed, in line with those demands for a more diverse and relaxed Sunday afternoon policy, room 2 at the club will focus upon house, breaks and funk. Nine DJ's take to the decks with rising stars Lisa:Love and Liz Wigley part of the setup. Filthy Rich, James Barnsley, Tricki Nicki, E.N.A, Wonga! and a back to back from brothers Jeff and Russ Sealey complete the line-up. Advance tickets at only £5 each are advised and can be obtained from the ticket outlets listed below. 'Casualty' at the Cobourg will be running as both a pre-bar and an after party to the whole event, for those who wish to make a whole afternoon of it. As a special warm-up to the party, DJ's DJGRH, Ade Rippin, el_captino, Tomsk, Will Graney and Caroline Banx will be gracing the Cyberdog decks on the 3rd of May, for promotion purposes for the week after. The whole event is being run with the promotional assistance of 4clubbers.net (www.4clubbers.net) who will be running a competition to win tickets to the event. Sunday afternoon clubbers can vary in respect of their desires. It's refreshing to see a club catering for the intense, but also to cater for the relaxed. *DRINKS PROMOTIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT* - Tickets are now available from TicketWeb by calling their 24 hour mail order line on 08700 600100 or order online at www.ticketweb.co.uk Tickets are also available from the following outlets : Cyberdog (Leeds) 0113 246 7749 Jumbo (Leeds) 0113 245 5570 Reflex Records (Sheffield) 0114 275 9035 The Disc (Bradford) 01274 394730 Pulse (York) 01904 678 6504 Flying Records (Newcastle) 0191 222 1925 Cyberdog (Manchester) 0161 833 2127 Spin Inn (Manchester) 0161 839 7719 Old Skool Daze (Birmingham) 0121 471 0777 3 Shades (Birmingham) 0121 687 2772 3 Beat Records (Liverpool) 0151 709 3355 Hotwax Records (Lincoln) 01522 560 840 Information lines : (Wayne) 07870 602591, (Will) 07711 586283, (Ade) 07950 233945 Web : www.kemistry-leeds.com Email : info@kemistry-leeds.com Quote Kemistry web site launched: www.kemistry-leeds.com
