OK, the other half of the band has just turned around to me and said "I don't like Cubase, Making Waves is far easier to use" I have never used Making Waves, and think it would be a step backward, but hey, what do I know!?!? Is it a good piece of kit, we will be using the sequencing and audio for writing, and then recording it all into the audio sequencer for mastering

I got a copy free with computer music a few months back lol.gif

I'll have a look at it but i think you are right in saying it will be a step back. From what i could see when i had a look at it, i'd compaire it along with Ejay scratchchin.gif

h'es probably right saying that Making waves would be easier to use, but as far as i can tell it doesn't have half the functionality of Cubase. Personally i would think that it would be worth your/their while to take the time to learn cubase thoroughly. The results in the end will be much better and u will be able to get a lot more creative

you need me i'm magic E, hehe

I was still using the ORIGINAL Making Waves until a few months back. It is a major step back from Cubase. I think Acid would be more of a halfway solution for you. It's easy to lay down loops/audio/MIDI and hosts plugins.
