Have you given anymore thought to the whole DIY deck stand design ?

I've been a right busy little bees this weekend and have been doing some storage units for my tunes and must say that they do look the nads, so before you run along and waste all your hard earned cash on some dodgy firm from the internet, think of Nick G - Super Chipie

Cheers mate, I've spoken to alot of people about this and i've decided to give it a go myself. Recon i can make the whole lot for £60 which is better that almost £300 which is what most places want for the same thing.

Just deciding on 12mm or 18mm MDF????

18mm matey - better to make it nice and solid.

Use glue on all the joints too (i actually prefer to use Gripfill or No-Nails, but normal wood glue is ok), and don't forget to drill pilot holes before you screw two pieces together - MDF splits so easily!
