CTW DJs Andy Whitby Posted May 5, 2003 CTW DJs Share Posted May 5, 2003 Well, just got home from London and its been one hell of a weekend, hope everyone had a good time! Friday i played @ Cheeky in Liverpool which was really good, had a wicked time, played 12-1 before letting jez & Charlie finish off the night, although by that time i had already gone home to get some rest for the huge beast that is WILDCHILD! .... Got the train to Manchester on saturday afternoon, Sarah picked me up and off we set to Recoverworld to meet up with Simon Eve, when finally arriving in London i managed to come across some incredible bar prices (£7.20 for a Bud and shot of watered-down vodka! ). Weirdo played a wicked Live P.A which i was very impressed with! Then it was back to the hotel for some rest, but not before some random big man in a car told Sarah 'your very lucky to have a man like him' before winking! i.e he fancied abit of from litle old me! After some sleep and rest it was sunday and time ot head off to 'Spoons to meet the crew! Really happy to see loads of you there, and was lovely to meet some CTW i havn't before: Mod1, Freestlyer, and so on! Wilchild was packed, atmosphere on the dancefloors was superb with everyone going for it and having a wicked time, was happy to see all my CTWers supporting me when i got on the decks (eventually!) and i hope i did u proud, thankx for dancing! Good job i was in a good mood - i could have sold your ass boy!! It was one of the best weekends i have ever had - Wildchild was excellent & true to form Andy Whitby impressed a lot of people! Was a top atmosphere when he was playing! I ventured down to the main room at one point to check out how it was going with Farley playing & it was quite dead in there - i think we had the majority of the people! Other moments included - driving past the Trocadero 10 times! - I knew where i was going though! Never seeing anyone in the entire hotel we were staying in!
