CTW DJs Guyster Posted May 6, 2003 CTW DJs Share Posted May 6, 2003 Thanks for everyone who came, was involved in the night, and anyone else...! It was utterly memorable. The atmosphere in the main room from 12 or so til the end was electric. I tried to see pretty much all the DJs, but highlights for me were Rob Tissera, BK, Farley, Phil Reynolds, Senor Whitby, and I loved what Greg Downey was playing at the start. Didn't get to see Shan I was at the club before 7, and didn't leave til about 8.15, how I managed to stay straight for so long I'll never know! I've never rushed about like that in my life, but being involved and sorting out everything gave me such immense satisfaction... standing on the stage looking back at the main room going mental made it all worth it. I think we came of age I've got so many people to thank, the list is too long (so apologies to anyone I've missed off or forgotten. Thanks to James and Sarah and the whole of CTW for being part of such an amazing night, everywhere I went all night there were some of you! Mr Andy Whitby for closing out the 2nd Room in style... you went down a storm. Thanks to everyone who was there for my set, I had so much fun, tho the 60 mins went soooo fast! Thanks and a big hello to everyone I met. I'm really sorry if I was introduced and had to run away, I was on a mission all night, to sort things out, to meet people, and generally be in every room at the same time! Good to see some of you again, and great to meet new people too.... THe afters were hilarious - was doing fine until I got myself into a state... (not as bad as Mr Moo tho ) but still lasted til they chucked us out at 2.... then we proceeded to wander around for half an hour before we found the pub! At least the sun came out.... Els - thanks for the show you put on for us at the pub. I have it on film - should try and make it available for public viewing... Cheers people - you made my weekend. You should have given me a call when they kicked you out of shillibeers, I only live 5 mins away and had a party going full tilt all day... By the time I managed to get away for 5 and walk around to see who was at the afters, it was closed... :$ I finally got rid of the last of the messy people at 11ish last night... I think I may well have collapsed if I'd got near yours! I decided that it'd be a good idea to do a big line of k and then keep djing. I was wrong. Hence I sat slumped on a chair with Tara for 2 hours! Sounds like Reece and crew pulled off their best night yet. I will now be grumpy, moody and short tempered for the remainder of the week! Jealous as [censored]! But glad you all had a lethal night.
