Who's looking forward to Ibiza 2002 then?

I've been twice already and can't wait to go back for my third week in Sept for the closing parties

 

I go back on the 19th at the moment but probably going to change it to a few days earlier and do some extra nights!

 

Its been good this summer in that I decided to do a week for the opening, week for radio1/mid season and week for closing so get to see the whole season this year.

 

Its not as hot at the moment as it was at the end of June, I got back early Tuesday and during the week there was usually a breeze which was nice and some cloudy days.. it also rained the one day for a short period!

 

The island is a bit quiet compared to last year, but the place is still rocking and the radio1 Manumission on Sat was amazing, saw Sasha again last night at CODE and he rocked that was well..

 

anyone going to be out there the end of Sept?

I'm REALLY looking 4ward to getting my butt back out there - Dave and I went for a few days a month ago and now I cant wait to get back - trying to get another week off work to go for 2 weeks now but its not looking good.

 

Have a fab time for the closing parties - I went last year at that time. I'm sure there will be loads from here and Ibiza-Spotlight going the same time as you.

yeah I did 2 weeks for the closing last summer, it was my first time out there and it was amazing!

In total there were about 20 of us for the main event (Godskitchen closing) as that's where we all knew each other from.

this year has been better in that I'm out there for all 3 parts of the season and doing different nights when I go back in Sept I'm looking to check out more places in Ibiza Town like DC10 and Bora Bora as after doing a month out there in total so far I have still not got round to doing Ibiza Town apart from Space!

 

have you been to Formentera at all? that's something I'm doing in Sept and probably Atlantis too... depends how heavy this trip is, I know last year I didn't see many days of sunlight

 

Well looking forward to going back even though I was there 3 days ago!

 

hope these 6 weeks hurry up!

I've just booked mine today and im going on saturday!! yippeee! i got a bargain aswell! i cant wait! i will try and get to an internet cafe when im there and tell you all about it!

Yeah I get mine cheap, flights for £50 and accomodation at £100 per week or less this year as I found some good but cheap hotels!

 

Last summer we got 2 apartments one right behind Cafe Mambo, but they are fully booked this year already

There's a 'Spaced' Internet Cafe by the vinyl shop in the west end hun. Really nicely air conditioned and pretty reasonable price wise. In other words - no excuses for not comin on CTW everyday and tellin us about it!

WOW!! I can see where all the coaches gather!! This will be my third year! i wasn't going to go cuz i want to work there next year, but my arm got twisted! (did take much). Are you going out again are you?

let me say working out there is not like going out there for a holiday! Unless you get a good job, that is! a lot of people that go and do bar / restaurant work,

 

don't like the low pay and long hours and clubs where you get paid depending on how many people you get through the door, well some of them rip you off!

 

yep, I'm going back out there for my third week this summer at the end of Sept! Can't wait!

 

wish I was going back now! 6 weeks to go!

suppose I can't complain though having been twice already! in the past month!

 

Space shop is OK, but e-station is better and cheaper I think....Bar M is free

Bar M is incredibly slow though, i also wrote some pretty embarressing twatted posts on the garlands message board last time i was there.

yeah it is at times, I noticed they've got a wireless lan going there so they've got a feed from somewhere else..

 

it's ok if you just want to check email, but anything more goto e-station or something!
