FAO All Garlands people

OK, im following James's advice and rather than letting anything build up into a slagging match that happened today im writing it down in here.

This is to everyone i met at Garlands - im sorry if some of you think i came across as being snotty, above everyone else, un-interested etc. It wasnt the case and im still feeling a bit confused as to why some of you might have though that. I'd appreciate any comments please - im always working at bettering myself and learning to get along with everyone, so would appreciate it if tell me what u think rather than keeping it to yourself.

I walked into Garlands that night feeling quite apprehensive as i was to meet most of you for the first time and knew that you all knew each other quite well. A bit of nervousness probably got the better of me as instead of opening up and talking to you all, i probably went more into myself and this could have appeared like i wasnt arsed.

Back at Debiys everyone seemed wrecked/tired (inc me!) so i guess it wasnt the best situation to get to know each other.

My consuming of certain substances maybe enhanced this (i think some of u know wot its like sometimes!) and has got me into a bit of trouble recently so im getting things back in order.

Anyway, will stop waffling now. Sorry to all concerned.

the first time i met sarah i was exactly the same, to nurvouse to talk to anyone! i think nurves can soemtimes get the better of you! and i also think everyone is as equal as everyone. lets all hug and make up!!!

Can i just add that i will be nervous as hell meeting up with you guys. The first impressions we give are not always what we intend. In fact, they often mask the true person inside. After a few meets, everyone relaxes and its a rollercoaster...Keep your chin up Sarah..

Hey Mrk don't worry about it, I can agree to the same feeling of apprehension when I met Creamy when he came up to glasgow last month (imagine how he must have felt) and I can honestly say he couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming, so anyone he is mates with (a lot of people here) are undoubtedly sound folks, of which you can tell by almost all the posts contained within this site. Meeting Kev (Creams) has strenghened my attachment to this site and made me really want to meet some more of the CTW crew.

I can see how people feel nervous about meeting up with complete strangers but

 

I can honestly say i dont have this problem, i actually look forward to the old back slapping routine or freindly 'oh hello' peck on the cheek when i meet new peeps. I do it alot though so my confidence has grown.

 

I hope this little matter blows away and we can all be friends!!!!

I didn't realise you were out with us until James & I were chatting at Debs & he pointed you out. I agree we were all twatted, but I was taken aback when I came over & introduced myself too you. I was chuffed to be meeting more n more of the CTW crew & was dissapointed by your reaction to me. Maybe it was me being an over excited puppy and expecting too much from you at 5am - that I can understand!

I don't think anyone's gonna be arsey on here fish,so I would'nt fret too much.You seem like the kind of fruitloop we like havin on here!Although there's probably better ways of going about such things,at least its come out in the open and any misunderstandings have been sorted out.

Better that,than have everyone bitching and backstabbing etc,if it goes down that road, then everything goes to [censored].
