The site has defo been unreachable a few times over the last few days (5 minutes at a time maybe...)

still plays up for me with the browser crashing and also not bein able to reply and havin to retry about 16 times for each post and thats no exaggeration!!

bizzare - I really dont know whats up with it - there is a new version which I'm installing soon - perhaps it addresses some of these issues - if not I'll chase it up with the developers.

Yeah me 2 - IE crashes from time to time with the usual send bug report popup box....

Hi James,

 

It looks like the site was down today for at least an hour from 1pm onwards. To me this looked like the link between

 

positive-internet.co.uk's clara.net feed router and the rest of their network was dead...

cheers mate - it was indeed the problem - hardware problem with the router - we've had symtoms all week - at least now they know the problem.

you'll be pleased to know that I'm also getting the browser crash occassionally - helps to sort this issue out.

i am also getting browser crashes or browser freezes as well. I notice it more when i have 2 browsers open at once - like when im uploading pics as well as looking thro the forums. Also have noticed that my processor is being hammered - when i close the CTW page - it goes back to normal. The microsoft 'hourglass' thingy is always on too as if its waiting to do something.

let me know if this is still happening from now on as i've removed the 'ticker' which we think was causing the problem.
