Hi everyone,

 

I've been ploughing through all kinds of shite in a vain attempt to find 'real people's' opinions of the White Island - finally I find you lot! Flying out on Monday morning and have earmarked Manumission (mon), Cream@Amnesia (thu) and Euphoria Closing party (Sat) for some top boshing fun. Hope I can bump into some of you lot out there. I'll be up front now and admit I'm not a totally committed clubber...rugby's very important to me so the ruination of bodily organs and cardio-vascular fitness will need to wait a few years. I am getting into the club scene, since an awesome intro to The Fridge back in April, so please treat me gently.

 

One thing I do love is meeting sound people in great venues - and being coherent enough to talk to them...if I sound like your sort of 24hr Party Person, drop me a line.

Welcome Finbar! I can absolutely vouch for the quality of the people on this forum, I found this place by accident and it is the best, not loads and loads of people but a nice collection of nice people, meet up with the lot off to Ibiza these next few weeks and you won't regret it!

Am definitely going to Euphoria as I have tickets already,but how do you suggest meeting up with CTW types? I'm not taking my phone with me...far too good at losing it for that!

Right for the closing parties saturday meet at the egg statue at between 9pm & 10pm. Failing that try Bar M at 11pm afterwards - we will be 'in the area' from 9pm - 12pm I would think. You cant miss some of us ! Otherwise we'll see you in there - look out for camera flashes - I'll be mostly by the DJ booth up the front or to the right of it.

Did ya meet up wiv any of us - i got back from Ibeefa last nite n bin working since 4 this mornin so compltely f**ed rite now and needing sleep!! when i've recoverd will b doing review of my mad week!

Ah, well...bugger me backwards - that was well f*&£ing sound! I'm really sorry I didn't bump into anybody out there but I really had the time of my little old life. Got back today at 4.00pm and would have been feeling very blue and depressed except I'm on some kind of crazy natural high. Seven sunsets, two sunrises, one all-night/alldayer (Manumission/Space), a fat night on the lash (inc. 2hrs banging in a free trance club called Play2) and a grandstand finish at Euphoria on Saturday night. Didn't meet you guys but met plenty of other really sound peeps (including one or two nice girlies) and generally had an amazing time! The best thing of all is that I've just been to the gym and that endless dancing appears to have made me even fitter than before I left. I am sooooooo going back next year....Hope y'all had a great time too and thanks to all the new 'welcome' messages since I left. I love the general vibe and friendliness of CTW and would definitely like to meet up with you guys in the future.
