CTW Promotors ElsxBells Posted April 20, 2004 CTW Promotors Share Posted April 20, 2004 I thought the music on Sat was the worst I've heard at Serious TBH. Gleave was sooo boring. The only highlight was Andy Bagguley - I would've danced more earlier if I'd have known how bad it would get at the end!
CTW Members rachel Posted April 20, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted April 20, 2004 The tunes weren't the best i've heard at Serious, but i was wondering around for most of the night, trying to find somebody. I have absolutely no idea who was playing at the time, think it might have been Jules but he played some wicked tunes with the dirtiest base lines. I'm pretty sure it was him as just after that i met Gleave before he played. I finally got home at 9.30 Sunday night after spending the day in the pub, my orginal plan was to leave straight after Serious because of work yesterday. But i thankfully managed work ok. I like Jules; he may not be the God of Mixing but his sets usually have loads of energy and intensity. He played a fantastic set at The Gallery in January. Agreed Colin, Gleave did play some quality tunes ... proper filthy stuff ... just wouldn't preferred a bit more variety. He could have gone in a trancier direction, or gone a lot harder, I'm not fussy!
