Do you know if the chinese name Yu is male or female?

it can be either but i think it's more likely to be male. what's the full name? cos that would help to decide.

i thin it's more likely to be female now but it's difficult to tell really. if they're from hong kong it's more likely to be female as, if china then more likely male.

 

most chinese people in the uk are fomr hong kong

 

also depends is Sang is their surname or part of their first name.

 

e.g. my chinese name would be Kok Hung Tang, Yu Sang could be any part of the three names most chinese ppl have.
