any technical peeps here!??

I really wanna put all the little funny faces(like the instant gremlins!) and other stuff onto my posts - how do i go about this, was told i needed a website I've got a load n my outlook 4 emails but can't [censored] out how to get anythig like it on here or other sites any suggestions!?

If you want the smily faces have a look on www.mysmilies.com

 

From here you can get the web address you need to link to it ..... its in the box at the top of the site. When you wana insert it click on the Instant UBB Code item for Image and enter the web address you got from mysmilies.com in there. Exclude the bits !!!

 

Any prob just ask !!!

in order to [censored] you need something like this on your signature file

 

[ IMG]http://216.40.241.68/otn/happy/burnout.gif[/img ]

 

You will need to select or block off the URL b4 u copy.

 

However delete the space between the square brackets and IMG, like this (what i've done above is so you can see what it's supposed to look like.)

Ok here we go ... a step by step guide !!!

 

To stick smilies in a reply.

 

1. Hit reply and type message to the point where you wana enter the smiley.

2. Hit the UBB Code button for Image. It will now ask you for a web address.

3. Go back to www.mysmilies.com and click on the smiley you wana enter. The code will appear in the box above.

4. Highlight the code from the http:\\ to the end excluding the [\IMG] tag. Press CTRL and C at the same time to copy the code.

5. Bob back to your message and in the web address box, which you got when you pressed the UBB Image button, press CTRL and V at the same time. This will copy the address in for you.

6. Finish your message and fingers crossed all should be OK.

 

To stick Smilies in your Signature.

 

1. Go to you profile ie ---> My profile ---> passwords and info etc --> edit

2. In the signature tab enter what you want, but where you want a smiley you need to enter the following :

ie. but delete the spaces and this will give you

 

Get the web address for the smiley as given in steps 3 & 4.

 

Hope you are all sorted now !!!

3. 'http://216.40.249.192/mysmilies/contrib/ruinkai/image' is not a image file, I imagine the 'image' bit is sposed to be the end tag, but 'ruinkai' is still not an image file, it's a directory.
