Like how you know when you actually really like someone and really wanna be with that person or just really wanna shag em ?

I agree with ray (fred) Lust is about personal gratification, and your own pleasure, nothing wrong with that BTW, way too many martyrs in this world & ting.

Love is about wanting the other person to be fulfilled, happy, succesful, have loads of fun and pleasure, supporting and looking after them, and crucially, them wanting / doing the same back for you.

this sounds like such a cop out but if i'm in love with somebody, the bottom line about how do i know is, "i just know"

tis fun reading all the replies for love. Myself, not been there. But I reckon it is very much a person thing. The thing I also say to my friends when they wonder if there are is love is to say

 

"if you have to ask, you're not in love"

 

You just know
