I reckon a difference in age doesn't help matters. It makes it harder to work through stuff.

There is more to think about aswell. If the relationship ends, then it's easier for the younger person (in my opion anyway). The younger person could even end up ending the relationship if they weren't sure about what they wanted, just in case it didn't work out later on, to save the older person from being hurt.

People of different ages will probs be looking for different things, and they will be at different stages in their lives, i.e. one wanting to go out clubbing for the next 10 yrs, and the other thinking about settling down and taking it easy.

Saying all that, if you're both grown up enough and know what you want, there shouldn't be any probs.

It's all about maturity.

yes.gifnotworthy.gif couldnt have said it better myself, as long as your both on the same maturity wavelenth or can at least handle the difference in maturity levels, nothing else matters.

Surely there are so many variations and differences in peoples personalities, that any age gap is potentialy going to amplify those differences regardless of maturity ?

I agree with this too !
