Just an idea I've had.......

 

- We all pitch in and rent a cottage somewhere in the middle of no-where for the weekend, then just have a mental house parties (with decks, drugs, Tony P etc).

 

Anyone think this is a good idea/have any places we can start scouting for cottages?

I don't think it matters where exactly in the country we have it, as long as it's not testicle snappingly cold and away from any populated areas.

 

And devoid if chairs, for James' sake.

But other than that, the idea does have a snatch of possibility about it?

wicked idea - someone take ownership of "hunting for a cottage" for early next year. Maybe a CTW Easter Break ???

Easter sounds good - I know some peeps who have tried something like this before, so I'll get onto them (not like that) to see if they've got any recommendations for cottages.

 

Also, any preferences as to areas? I was thinking the Yorkshire area, as it's not to far from north, south or London.

i did have a brochure of cottages - there's some with swimming pools, the works i reckon that'd be wicked, they seem really expensive but when u share it between loads of u then it's not really - I'll ahve a look see if i still got brochure - if they they have all those sort of things in the tv mags at the back!! I did something like this years ago in norfolk and it was really good laugh so yeh well up 4 it!! jsut had nother thought we could mayb do as well - in norfolk they ahve barges u can rent out 4 holidays too - reckon that could b quite funny 2!!

I've had a quick look and you can get properties to fit from 2 to 10 ppl in. There was one in Wensleydale (Where the Cheese is from) which could fit 8 in. The price depends on when you go. If you avoid things like Easter its not too bad. The prices where :

 

Jan - March approx 250

April - May approx 300 - 400

June approx 500

Sept approx 400

It still cheap though given it would be divided between a few of us. Some don't allow ppl to smoke, which could be a bit of a problem !!
