AAAAGGHGGGHGGHGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

internet explorer has just crashed 3 times in the last 10 mins and each time was cuz i minimized the browser just after posting (i do it out of habbit)

 

now dont tell me thats a fukin coincidence admin and dont tell me i know nowt about webdesign either cuz i've writtern websites in PHP, cgi/perl and ASP (i was writting websites b4 the masses had heard of it) as well as done lots of [censored] with java and javascript (and c++, vb, pascal/delphi) - i've been programming since i was 7 (and we're talking pre-windows 3.1 here!), built computers, set up both linux, BeOS and windows servers, even written fukin computer AI so i think i would know when its a computer problem and when its software fuking up and i KNOW its just ur fukin script fuking up my webbrowser!!!!!!

sorry mr 'happy' but I think it has to be your computer, no one else (even me, and thats saying something) has these problems as far as I know, it really does sound like your computer is behaving badly itself - time for a re-install!

No sig loads of us have these crashing problems.

 

It happens both when you post a message and if you happen to navigate away from the post message page (like if you decide not to post something), it occasionally crashes. I'd say about 33% of the time.

IE crashes after posting even if you don't minimise, or navigate away and just leave it sitting there. It's [censored], it don't [censored], don't use it.

Don't know if you're looking at the same chunk of Javascript that I am, but it doesn't look to me like it sets co-ordinates in onLoad. Try not minimising your browser after posting, I'm pretty sure it'll still crash.

And I do know what I'm talking about, building commercial websites is what I do for a living.

i never said u dont know what ur talking about - i was just saying that u cant brush off what i'm saying cuz i'm a novice when quite clearly i'm not

 

ne how - i use ie6 cuz i'm running XP on this computer - sadly i havn't set up the internet on me main computer (due to lots of complex reasons) which really pisses me off cuz me other computer is a bad ass machine (ie dual processor )

 

the only reason winXP is on this computer is cuz my family need to use it as well and i h8 xp soo much so i really dont use this computer apart from surfin the net

hahhaa - i'm not even gonna attempt to confuse my family and install sumthin diff to ie

 

when i finially get round to converting that old 486 lying on me floor into a rouiter then i'll get ADSL and i'll have the net on my own computer so i can browse the net using linx (a console based browser 4 linux)
