you can phone them & keep your old number hon, im sure, they transfer it for you, but is it contract??

Nah it is PAYG.

 

But mum just said they can switch the account to Orange for a fee.

 

I don't like O2 - maybe that is because I have never used it before.

 

BUT, most people I know use Orange so that is why I went with Orange in the first place.
