Bit annoyed about NEC ticket price.....

As i said in an earlier post - you are paying for the venue & the atmosphere more than anything & that is priceless at the NEC! Im not that keen on paying that much for a ticket plus having to fork out another £5 for the car-park when i get there but you do have a choice about whether you wanna go or not!

Is this the same site as Pontins? No. This site (owned by Park Dean) is a completely different place. Although it’s still a holiday park, it’s a 5 star resort with a much higher level of accommodation & facilities. This is the new home of Tidy Weekenders and the start of a new chapter. Q. What is the difference in the types of rooms? Park Dean has a very extensive array of accommodation available. All the rooms are of a very high standard and the festival have done their best to group the rooms in (what they feel) are appropriate grades of the accommodation, however there are slight differences within these groups. The rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis so the better grade rooms will be given to people who book early. Q. How are the rooms sold for this event? In the past we have sold tickets to the Tidy Weekenders on a per person basis. At this event we are selling the tickets on a PER ROOM basis. It’s completely up to you how many people you bring with you, however you can only bring people up to the maximum number of beds in the room you have booked. This means if you want to bring just two people and have space you can do (but you will pay more per person for the room) and if you fill up all the beds, it will work out cheaper per person. Q. I booked for the postponed Tidyland Wet & Wild Weekender due to take place in 2024. Can I come to this event? If you booked for the postponed 2024 event and requested a refund, you will have to book your place as normal. If you booked and retained your booking, one of our customer service team will be in touch to discuss your options for this event. About Tidy presents Tidy Girls 25 at the O2 Academy Bournemouth. Celebrating 25 years of the Tidy Girls. 25 years ago one of the biggest hard house EPs ever was released. It feature 4 female DJs and 4 brand new tracks that would be become iconic and synonymous with Tidy Trax and the hard house scene. Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Lisa Pin-Up and Rachel Auburn went into the Tidy studios in early 1999 with Amadeus Mozart, Andy Pickles and Paul Janes, and on May 5th the Tidy Girls EP was released. 25 years on we now get ready to celebrate that release with, brand new remixes of the original 4 tracks by some of the worlds biggest female DJs of today, plus the original girls are going back in the studio to make 4 brand new tracks to be released on Tidy later in the year. On November 30th the celebration comes to a climax with a massive event at everyones favourite venue, the old Opera House in Bournemouth (O2 Academy). This is where the girls reunite for one night only, with the Tidy Boys also appearing as it’s their 25th anniversary too. Andy and Amo became the Tidy Boys in the summer of 1999.
