Guys,

 

1) Arcade

 

you dont HAVE to use the arcade - its just a bit of a laugh and probably wont be there for long if people dont want it - not a problem. I set it up cos I thought it would be amusing.

 

2) Interesting Posts

 

If there "arent enough interesting posts" why dont those stating this actually start a new topic which hasnt been discussed before - or have we all run out of conversation ?

 

Personally I dont think it matters how many posts there are - most people just check to see whats on where, turn up, have a great night - thats what its all about.

 

You could also sign up to some other boards where the topics are more suited to your interests ?

 

3) Hardhouse

 

I am desperately trying to make the site not look as though its purely hardhouse - personally I dont think it is - just read through some profiles and you will see most people have a mixture of tastes. I for one am into many other genres - and I seek others into other genres. I dont think the name of the site says hardhouse either - so i cant understand where people are getting this 'only open to hardhouse' concept from

 

End of the day its the people who post the events - I dont see a dropdown or a warning stating 'hardhouse only'.

 

Anyone else coming Dance Valley ?????

I think in all fairness, ur right James, the site is no longer AS hard house orientated. However hardhouse and message boards, seem to be intrinsically linked, as to why I cannot say.

 

CTW is a small message board but if u look at its main protagonists they are hard house people, therefore it is they who set the image for the board. The majority of the DJs are hard house. The fact that the majority are hh, will only serve to attract more hh people. It's a vicious circle, and unless new people join or existing members start promoting other sorts of music prominently, it ain't gonna change.

agreed, which is why when i do get back out i will be concentrating on new areas/events and hopefully we can all bring new people to the board - plus those who find it via search engines etc.

 

i do think that whilst we keep saying 'too hh' - it will unfairly put off people who arent just hh - the point being we DO cater for all tastes - nothing is hardcoded to only HH

Fair comment Tresh, I have been trying to add other genres in the events sect such as Trance, tecno & pystrance/Nu NRg nights for all to try, but the point is what has this got to do with the arcade??

Technically the Serious forum has nothing to do with clubbing either ... so bloody what? People like it!

 

What brings the board down isn't "hard house", it's people bloody whinging! (ahem, irony noted)
