Well Shen, Ray, and anyone else that didn't attend, i can honestly say you missed out on a totally fanatstic night. The club was superb, the layout perfect and the sound system was banging. The music was wicked too - it's nice to have 3 arenas - trance, funky, and oldskool/ classics in th VIP - you can move around between all 3 arenas (as i did) if you fancy a break from any particular style - and there's a wicked chill out area outside too - very handy. The people there are some of the nicest (and best looking) i've come across in a club for a long time - so friendly and so up for a wicked night of partying ... something that i've found lacking in so many other clubs i've been to.

Was fantastic meeting up with everyone again (far too many names to mention, but what a turn out!!) Thanks for sorting out the guest entry for all us non members, and thanks to Elly for the afterparty - always appreciated

Rating for Serious @ The Cross - 9/10 thumbs.gif

Rating for Norman Jays set - 8/10 thumbs.gif

Rating for Judge Jules' set - 6/10 thumbsdown.gif

Quality night! Took a while to get going, No idea what time Norman Jay played, glad to hear thet Nick G enjoyed him!

Personally thought JUlesy was bangin in every sense, really got the crowd going, lots of interaction and some real stompers fresh off the press. Great to meet so many new people too, Big E, Evilhedfuk, Jay H, BeBe and the old Favs like Ellie, Kev and the soul integrator! Nice one people.

Different Venue, different atmosphere, normal looking people and proper music.

And it Just proves Long Live Trance!! (its still there, just underground a bit more) thumbs.gif

Totally agree with everything that Nick except the Jule's rating, amazingly (see above)...still think he's a disapointment as a human being, but i can't fault his choice of music, mixing, and reading of a very demanding crowd..so big up 4 that.

Evil (ed) and Rachel organised it so that we were all paired up with members, who were their mates...NUFF Respect notworthy.gifnotworthy.gif...so we all got in no q for £12...they were all a great crowd of peeps and we need these ppes on the site...esp as most of them aren't into hard house!!! .

The cross was amazing...never been there b4, and i really loved it.Really glam venue, glam people, and great night..., my only minor gripe was i couldn't decide which room to stay in, till the end when the Jools's trance took me over...So i went too all three, like Nick!!

Big respect for Freano...and really great to meet him too, hope I will be seeing a lot more of him at soon to be orgainsied Funky house, Disco house, and Trance meet ups!! And esp at the Viaduct for Club The World Part 2!!!

Being as i went to nucklez, peach and the cross...i am a bit jaded...but can't rmrmber three more enjoyable nites in ages...

cool!!

Hello mate, nice meeting you again-herd you went home early.

well it did look like its used as as one of them hostess bars where they charge you 30 quid for a coke, but they converted it into a club with dj, most of the people looked like they were from the 60's, very sureal experience. woulnt even serve booze

What a load of arse !

I went walkies thats all, like I do in most clubs, apparently because I was wetter than the rest when it closed (because I couldn't find them in there and waited outside) I had gone home and come back!

Another favourite I liked was that I had left the club and stood in the rain for 2 hours! Classic !

Good to meet you again mate, see you at the next one !

Anyway ........

I've just realised that I'm not the best reviewer so I'm going to leave it here instead! Serous @ The Cross, I have to say, what a club, what a turnout, what a night! Thanks to Ed for the organising ALL of us to get in cheaper and team us up with couples who had membership although due to the sheer quality of the night I would've paid the extra. The club itself is wicked, smart, the decor is excellent and the people are the best! Could London have an answer to Garlands in Liverpool? I reckon it can with this event, it has trance, funky house, and old skool, a chillout room and a VIP room which was opened later on in the evening so everyone could get a taste of the place! The only downer was the fact it was pissing down with rain because the mini-terraces outside each room are blinding, had it not been raining it would've been alot better but it was still covered so we were still allowed to sit out there and chill out! The people are the friendliest you could meet, the bar staff happy, the door staff top, everything about this club / night was run to perfection. As Freano said, good to see so many CTW'ers out, especially the ones we dont see that often, ie fintbeast, Freano etc, the variety of music in there made it even better, taking a break from one and going to another was perfect! Judge Jules impressed me with his tunes but consistently has to act an arse by bopping his head all over the show, really cant undertand why he does that BUT Norman Jay was indeed wicked! Nice work!

What made this night was the fact there was so many CTW'ers there, really is good to see so many people out not only for the main night itself but to all be together when leaving clubs as well, big thanks to Elly for the all-day after-party and a big fat thanks to all of you that were there! You lot are the best!
