Why is it the last set at the end of a HardHouse night ...

Why is it I keep hearing the best hardhouse I've ever heard right at the END of the night - its ALWAYS the last bloody set - why cant it be like this ALL night ??? This happened at sunny d the other week and also just recently at Heat NYE - plus countless of other times. I keep trying to explain to people why I like it - with it's hard kick - also seems harder & faster & dirtier - I mean REALLY good stuff.

Where can I buy a CD with stuff like this on because I'm not being funny but no one has given me one yet with hh like this.

If anyone was at Heat NYE you will hopefully know the kind of music I'm talking about - it was playing in the entrance/foyeur and it was playing for at least the last 4 or 5 tracks.

I wanna know where I can get my hands on these types of tracks as it is this which I want to produce myself.

Can anyone help ??? Also does anyone know of a night in the UK which plays soley hard/fast/dirtier. I'm not sure if its also classed as 'bouncy' - can someone tell me what bouncy means ? I do find I cant help myself but bouncy up and down whilst walking around with music like this on - is this what you define as bouncy ???

James, I'm with you in this one, like the Stuff Farley plays, love it. Virtually all of HQ-NYE was hard, was amazing.

I think bouncy is the softer, happier stuff.

mmmm Glazby drool.gif

from what I've heard of it -- I've still yet to hear the entire thing all in one go -- "One From The Hardbox" sounds like it might be right up your street. (Vicious Circle mix cd)

Don't think you could ever really class it as bouncy. If you're wanting hard/dark then it's more techy stuff that you're looking for than bouncy off-beat basslines.

(IMHO)

I think of hard house as just bosh bosh bosh, bouncy is more hard house with trancey bits in, the tunes in the foyer was better at heat but i couldn't b arsed to stand in the foyer all nite!

Personally i luv bouncey hard house grin.gif

james, il do u a bouncy cd if ya want?

its the older stuff that is more "silly"

i personally love bouncy, but times have moved on and no1 is making or playing it anymore (apart from Lisa Pin-up of course!) and that is why its mostly Hard Trance. i think its a shame there isnt more variety tho.

I'M HUNGRY!

If you want proper bouncy style hard house, check out the australian hard house scene at the mo. They're about 18months behind us, so hard house is still about bouncy as f___ basslines rather than stinging synth slices.

Harder. Faster. Better. Stronger. Badder. Smarter. Wub Wub
