deltree prompts iirc, and with SFP on windows, u can't delete most of the vital system files anyway.

 

I appreciate that linux has its advantages, as any OS does, but I just don't believe that they lie in the home computer market.

 

could you remind me what the -i flag does if you'd be so kind? It's been a while since I used a linux box.

I'm pretty sure there's an option to turn off prompting, but I could be wrong, I don't use Windoze. And since when has IE been a system file ? Why can't I delete it ?

Possibly not, but it's getter more and more user friendly especially with the advent of GNOME 2. And if you're after reliability, it can't be beaten.

That would be 'interactive' , i.e. it prompts you before each delete grin.gif

And thinking about it, if your system is configured correctly, you shouldn't have permission to delete any system files anyway.
