If you're all new to it i wouldn't bother getting any hardware to start with.. learn your sequencer.. pick one that you feel comfortable with and stick with it, learn it inside out rather than knowing a lot of sequencers basics but not actually knowing as much as you can about just one of them. There's plenty of VSTs out there for you to use without having to lay out for expensive hardware straight away when you don't know how you're going to take to production. Once you know your way round things, what kinda sound you like/want etc etc then if you still want to get hardware.. research the best keyboard to benefit your needs. smile.gif

 

 

Hope this has helped somewhat.. i'm drinking and may not be making as much sense as i want to be.
