TBH, I dont think anyone will shout at you Lou, think its best we stay cool & air our opinions because they wont get sorted & we can not improve things otherwise.

 

Im not getting into the old dj row, but CTW has 4 djs & we as a community we do a damn good job of supporting them, however the gigs they get are solely in London, AT THE MO!!, so that aside we need to start thinking about say a once every two months trip/meet up north, how does that sound, we could all type & type saying this & that, we need to put it to plan & action

I don't see why you can't organise drinks meets oop North for the Northern members.

 

It just takes someone to be prepared to be organiser.

 

You don't get people from Leeds going to Wetherspoons etc with us in London. At the end of the day, there's a lot of people in London which makes this kind of thing more accessable.

 

Just because not as many people can make it doesn't make it not as worthwhile.

its not the drinks meets we are on about,

 

my point is (dont know about anyone elses) us northerners/midlanders come down to london every few weeks to the meets but only a few southerners are prepared to travel up norf.

 

we do arrange meets up here but we have no interest from southerners (apart from the blatent piss take northern twat comments ) ok there has been the odd southerner like kether, tara & crill but none of the others really

Lou as I said, when you guys come down, it is to support the CTW dj's, like Tony & Phil, which is great & if we can get them gigs up north, im sure we would all attend too

to be honest, its partly to see the CTW DJs (quite frankly i dont give a pish whos playing or not ) ......but mostly i come down because thats where everyone else is,

 

as soon as a big meet is confirmed and the names start going down, why would i want to spend a night here (where the beers cheaper, admissions cheaper, people are friendlier, venues are more comfortable and it takes an hour not 5 to get home).....just to be on my own

You know I travel up to London at weekends ok, not 5 hours, but I am willing to travel 5 hours to come party up north with you guys, but listen, if Phil, takes off big time be ready to travel further & all over the place

She's been well aggressive and her only advice is: "if you don't like it fuck off".   Not exactly bringing people together is it?
