Funky House,Techno and Hard dance mix

Hiya havent been on the board for a while - sorry!

 

But if anyone is interested I have just done a mix cd which is a bit different (well -for me) cos my demo's are usually full of the hard stuff... this ones more chilled and feels bit more...urm....summery? And it builds up to hard dance.

got my cd today. had a quick scan though but must admit i've spent more time ont he bouble wrap.

my honnest comments:

* whilst there wasnt anything wrong with the mixing itself (a few tricks didnt really work but i fuk up my tricks all the time and most djs dont even both trying) it felt like you were bringing in the tracks too late (which lost the set alot of energy)

 

* some of the funkyer tracks sounded a little over pitched. which was a shame really as the track selection seemed spot on for the specification you had given yourself.

thanks for the comments mr happy... i dont think its my best CD yet and i need to get used to mixing further into tracks for the ones that arent that energetic at the beginning.

Its same with all music, altho with hardhouse a bit easier because the basslines are more powerful so sound better when theyre brought in
