"Headed up by the multi tasking Mister Duncan who is a seasoned purveyor of break, fat beats and dirty house, a sound engineer, and music producer to boot, there is quite an assortment of talent bringing up the rear.

 

 

 

Keeping Mister Duncan company on the decks, there is The Troup Brothers; two unmistakable siblings playing a blend of funk, jazz and electronic music and who aren’t afraid to spin the odd down-tempo cut. The pair’s day jobs are sound engineer and music promoter (for Ninja Tune), so expect upfront and interesting sounds. Lady Grace is the only female in an otherwise all male line-up, but she is no token presence, cutting her own particular swathe through some rather tasty vinyl cuts.

 

 

 

If that wasn’t enough, Hip Swing has their very own percussionist. W.I.D.E (Women Instantly Desire Excitement) jams off the vibe on a double bongo, double conga kit, and is guaranteed to move even the most sluggish of wallflower. He also slaps a mean bass, and squirts his particular brand of riff with more artistry than grace."
