Haiku anyone?

I've been inspired by Kether's 'split an infinitive' thread...anyone fancy a few posts in Haiku? or am I going too far

I sit, wondering.

On the Club The World Forum.

What will I post next?

 

What next I wonder...posts in Tanka? Iambic Pentameter? Chaucerian Couplets?...hmmmmm perhaps not

Yep...it's a bit harder to do in english than it is in japanese...I suppose it all depends on whether you think "forum" is one syllable or two...i'm going for two

ok here goes...I may be a syllable out here or there but that's generally the case with Tanka in English:

 

Dawn set the challenge.

Lizard works out a response.

Kethers Haiku was good.

So ill go for a Tanka.

Leaving me as the forum wanker.
