Well, it is 11am (BST I think, the time after I've put my watch forward). And I am just freshening up before heading onward to Shaft (that will make Saira happy). Managed to meet up with Pepsi, Bungle and Magikman. Found Saira being a DJ-groupie with Mark H, and she conned me into buying one of his CD's. (That isn't actually true, Mark H was playing in the Dragon Bar, which doesn't have great sound and I don't like listening to people play in there, but Mark's set was good enough for me to stay and listen until he finished, and I happily parted with the cash for a CD). Adi_J, where were you? And were we supposed to meet anyone else?

 

I enjoyed the night, Lee Haslam played first, and the people who turned up late missed a good set. Rachel Auburn followed, and she too rocked. At that point I developed a severe case of wonderlust, and so was flitting about all over the place for the rest of the night, but whenever I went into the main room, it sounded good. The crowd was a bit sparse, and I did hear some people say they didn't enjoy it, but I had a great time, and it was cool to meet Bungle for the first time and natter about stuff (I think I just kept going on about Lab 4). I had a good long natter with Majikman, and decided he is a top bloke, and it is always a pleasure to meet up with Pepsi, even if she was feeling a bit under the weather

 

Anyway, I am off to carry on partying
