I don't believe that no matter what u chose in life u will always end up at the same place.

 

I love the film Sliding doors, I really think that, that film is how life is. A small thing like missing a train can really have such a big impact on your life and u would never know.

Aye I love and hate the idea of that. I saw a bloke on a bike come within like half a second of getting hit by a truck near me house a couple of days ago. Was so scary to watch cos I seriously thought he wasnt gonna make it. Must've been inches between him and the truck and it got me thinking about the difference in just that half a second there. The difference on his life and his family, friends... and even the truck driver etc

 

Also love the kinda films that deal with luck and fate and whatnot. Things like Magnolia and the Final Destination ones

Can u pinpoint any points in your life where u think that something has happened that really changed the direction of your life?

 

I remember walking to my mates house once and I took a wrong turn and ended up walking through the university grounds. Up until that point I was NEVER ever going to go to Uni but walking through the campus made me change my mind. I don't know why but if I'd never made that wrong turn that nite I doubt very much I would be at uni now.

Surrey Uni campus is well nice, its got lakes and is very pretty. Lot better than De Montfort campus anyway.

Yeah I can think of loads of times like that 4 me. 1 that springs 2 mind straight away was when I was nearly struck by lightin. Me and a mate were walkin up a road when 4 no reason we both crossed the road at the same time and as we got level w/ a telegraph pole on the original side of the road, it was struck by lightin. spooky or what?

I think you can put yourself in a better position for the things youd like to happen for yourself to happen but at the end of the day i think if its meant 2 b its meant 2 b......

 

Certainly things have happened to me that have changed me as a person which ive had no control over, some of it i havent liked at the time but ive reaped the benefits of it later on.

yeah pretty much the same as what james said, although i do believe that there are certain things you can do which makes things better or easier or worse even, i also believe that your future is already pretty much pre-determined!

 

agree totally, although we could never know otherwise cos were led down one path in life only! but its always good
