1k broadband

im fortunate to have broadband running at 1k, why is this site so slow.

 

 

anyone know any good sites that i can take full advantage of my fast connection

The site is only going to be as fast as the server, not as fast as your connection speed, but by its connection speed and by how much demand is on the server. Oh and it might be about to crash again?

hmmmmmm.... maybe we should donate some money to the site... but seeing as there are only about 100 members who use the site regularly, it would have to be a fair bit.... wonder how many members there are with over 100 posts?

I'd be up for donating to the site. I was actaully wondering about that a while back - I hate freeloading, so wondered how this site was funded, and if I could help? And as for the clubhardhouse comment......... I prefer to be nice, so I'm just going to leave that one there.

This site has helped me through many lonely hours at uni, would definitely give donations. Think Sarah and James invest a lot of time and effort into this site and I would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK U

subscription would lead to one major problem. that being people wont pay it. they will see other clubbin sites and just think i'll go to that as it's free and i dont' have to pay. gurn took part of this route and it didn't really work.

 

there are other ways which i know is what is happening now, which is good.

 

But jus slammin the site because of hard house and what not is just bloody stupid. The fact is people talk about it on here is because they like it. it hasn't stopped other people talkin about other styles of music at all. just so happens that a lot of people that visit this site like it.

 

trying to make the site run faster for 1mbps users, well umm that's just fuckin stupid considering not many people in the UK actually have connection above 512kbps. secondly the site has nothing really to offer 1mbps users of that speed.

 

so really ummm, ya kinda chasing a dead end here and making comments that are not welcome and just annoy people, which in a community of people isn't a great thing as it just leads to back stabbin and what not.
