Had to pass on a call today from customer services woh had a customer on hold at their end. This customer wanted to speak to another technician who helped them earlier today with whatever it was that they needed help with. The customer asked for this person and gave me his full name but he was on a call so i couldnt transfer him thru. So took the customers telephone number as the customer wanted to speak to this person only, so the customer wouldnt be havig to repeat the problem they had to several tech#'s in the call centre.

 

I sent tihs tech (Terry) an e:mail to say that this customer would like him to call back as the line went dead whist he was teching the problem today blah blah - and his response was "I think its pretty frutrating that u did not take the call and more or less "took the easy way out" yr sposed to be a tech" to which I replied "I offered to take ownership of the call and porefessionaly tech the account but the customer stated yr full name and prefered to speak to u...and as it is my job to work the roll i was given, i granted what the customer wanted" then he replies "really".

 

Cheeky bastid i should send the e:mail to higher management - tellin me i aint doin my [censored] job properly!!!

Dont worry yourself about it i work in a call centre too and get the same shite. You should have said "fvckin rite i took the easy way out just like you did you lazy cvnt" sorry for the langauge but call centres are on my "to hate list" this week. However that would have put him in his place.
