SESSION HIGHLIGHTS:

 

This was a special session for us all as it was our FIRST on location session. We grabbed the CD burner and other gear and made our way out to MixxMusic Records and CDs in Waukegan. Kicking off the show was the head man in charge Busy Boy, who spun a rousing set of his first love - old school. Jamie "Jackin" Larsen was second with another set of old school classics. Kinda nostalgic.

 

Up third, DJ Fresko changed things up a bit with a fine mix of what many call "booty house", but we call it Chicago hardhouse. Pump Boy Lee then followed up by taking us into the modern day of filtered disco and bumpin house music. D-Jam was next as he took things deeper with that Chicago sound he so loves. Following D-Jam's set was our traditional "scratch session" where we got a real treat and heard a tag team scratch set from the Mixxmobb's own Alan "Baddmixx" Boyd and Opie Kuttingham. Finally, Opie Kuttingham closed out the show chilling us with another deep house set.
