Paged Private Messages

If like me you've got over 700 Private Messages (of which i'm still yet to reply to about 100! ) then you will notice its a right pain as its slow displaying all the messages each time. I've just changed it so the messages are displayed on multiple pages now - just like standard topics are ...

 

Date & Time on Private Messages

Private Messages now show the date & time sent under the sender's name ...

Searching Posts

You can now additionally search by Username ...

 

Mass Threads Move (admins & mods only)

Finally got round to adding this very useful feature which allows us to bulk move threads - good example is from 'Event Suggestions' to 'This Week' to 'Past Events'. You can find this new feature in the Admin section under Post Management named 'Move threads' ...

 

Added 'Shortnews' Ticker on Forum Summary

Just added this for a bit of a laugh, unfortunately its a US based site but still fairly amusing. Can always remove it if later.

 

Clickable Avatars

also added another tiny hack which displays the full image size of the avatars when clicked on (useful when linked pic is off site / larger, not so useful if its an uploaded avatar as the image size is restricted anyway lol)

can we have 2 avatars then - the full sized 1 and the cropped 1? as a little thumnail wouldnt always work if it was just a resized version of a big pic

you cant have 2 - you can have 1 larger one which is hosted off site and just linked - it will show smaller on here but the full size if clicked on

 

admit it would be nice to have 2 - one small one on posts and another seperate large one on profile page. i'm also looking into how to add more (interesting) questions to the profile pages...

All seems good except for that Short news pile of shite! I get enough crap on my pc without CTW providing it, lol! Surely it should just be CTW news up there?!

lol - i just thought it was kinda funny tara - was also trying to rip the code and switch it to ctw news one day. Until we've got real up-to-date news to put up i thought that would liven up the page in the meantime. wont be there forever.
