Do some clubbers take clubbing too seriously?

Its just a case of what you enjoy doing or what you are passionate about. If a football fan cant go to a match to see their team play they will be just as gutted as a clubber that cant go to a certain night to see their favorite DJ.

Ahhh ... see what you mean!

Hmm the folks who go to BED in Sheffield are supposed to be really snotty .... Must say, I agree that a few of them are .. they try and outdo one another in designer clothes and it's a real effort for the women in particular, to smile ... cos their make up will move!

They see the club as a "show case" for their clothes etc !

I love going into the loos and seeing them all re doing their make up .. and believe me, you take one of those women to bed and you will know about it in the morning ......... your bed will be plastered with foundation!

Thats true but its hardly a matter of life and death. If something prevents you from seeing a team or going to a club (ie, not being able to get there through travelling) then there should be something else for them to do. I like football and clubbing but I dont go spastic if I cant do either of them. And its not to say I'm not passionate its just that there are other things to do. I've just realised that this has waffled on a bit now so I will stop right now.

There are a lot of people though - football fans & clubbers that do treat it like a matter of life & death.

I would be gutted if i missed a good night but wouldnt be suicidal over it!

(unless it was Tidy Weekender!)
