i'd get addicted to divx but i have 200MB free on my hd now which kind of prevents that happening, in the same way that my finances prevent me developing a coke addiction.

to the best of my knowlage u cant get virus on documents (mp3s/pictures/etc) as their not executable so the viruses have no way of running

that's right - although you have to be careful that any file you run does not have a double extention such as for example 'music.mp3.bat' which would show up as music.mp3 in your download folder.

 

The icon for that file would be different to other icons associated with mp3s - and that would be one sure of way of telling if it is a legit mp3
