Worst Clubbin experience ever - MInistry Of Sound Chemistry

The following is an account of whats' def my worst clubbin experience ever and tho I just wanna forget the whole thing, want to warn people what a [censored] place MOS is

 

Me n Rob won tickets in one of Frantic's competitions for this event - each of us with free guest, Rob had the print out with the details on n showed it to the guy, after he got in 2 people pushed in in front of me n Mr Happy (Laurence) Rob went off in to the club thinking we were rite behind him, when I said my name the guy says it wasnt down and asked to see the print out - Coz of the piss poor reception in MOS took about 20 minutes for Rob to get msg and come back out with the print out - as he hands it to me this bouncer appears and accuses me of trying to pull a fast one and says to me n Laurence we're not going in and are banned for life

We didnt lose our rag with this guy just explained what had happend and he said he didnt care we werent going in - The guy with the tickets saw the print out and gave us both our free tickets - the bouncer then grabbed Laurences off him but I kept hold of mine, one bouncer went to let me in - and he called for him not to and just said the reason was he didnt like me At this point Rob had managed to get hold of the manager who just came out and asked y they wouldnt let me in and the guy jsut said coz my name wasnt' on the list (even tho it was ) and he accepted it.

We hung around for a bit - they then said a load of people could go thro so as the bouncer who caused the [censored] had disappeared I managed to get in tho laurence was waiting outside as he didnt think both of us would get away with it.

By this time it was about 1 and laurence had no way of getting home so just waited outside not knowing where or what to do, I was in the club about 15 minutes, then by the time I eventually found everyone the bouncer who caused the [censored] came up with another one, roughly grabbed me and thro me out - they then said to Laurence he could go in just to make it even worse for me.

He offered to come out but I told him to stay there, I was in dodgy area on my own at 1.30 to make my own way home jsut coz some bouncer on a power trip decided to give me grief. The way I was treated was like I'd done something criminal.

Usually theres no problems at frantics events. This is down to MOS - there is no way any of us will b going back EVER to this venue and jsut want to make people aware of how they treat people, last nite was one of the worst of my life and also spoilt everybody elses who had already got in that I was with.

I'm gonna write this letter to the club, mixmag and other clubbing sites, if anyone else can think of anything else to do to show this club up for what it is then feel free ok

OMG im well sorry to hear that, but that is absolutly appauling.

 

If that were me, i would not have let them get away with that, on the spot. They dont have a right to do that. But then, considering they are "bouncers" they tend to take that name tag waaaaay over their heads and they feel they are in control of anything and everything.

 

Bouncers are there to keep trouble away and to escort any sort of rif raf away from the premesis. Simple as. Not treat ppl like dirt. Sounds liek he probly didnt see you on the list at first and then refused u entry and then realised that u were on the list and didnt really wana feel like a tit by saying "oops sorry, u are on the list, i didnt see it".

 

It does piss me off that such bouncers have to show such [censored] attitude and deliver ppl like yrself disrespect. It's usally some [censored] "coke attitude" that they develop! Lets face it - most bouncers take that stuff and they do gain that attitude! Who the [censored] are they to grab you by the arm and throw u out? WANKERS! At least if that was the case and he didnt see you on the list - he coulda said "look im sorry but u aint on the list but u can pay entry". Regardless if you were on the list or not they coulda been a lot more condiserate about it rather than ruin your night.

 

I would most deffo write a letter of comaplint to the management and to MOS AND Mixmag. You see, this is another thing that gives certain clubs in clubland a bad name. Terrible doorstaff. And untill things like this improves, ppl will stop going to these clubs.

It looks like Frantic are not gonna get any regular's to their next date at Ministry as most of the regulars were well pissed off with the place and arrogant fuckers who were there... I know of about 20-30 of them who will not go back there no matter who is on...

 

I think they well exceeded their capacity, you couldn't move in there...

Peach Vs. Slinky, Camden Palace.

 

 

I've never been particularly enamoured with Peach, mainly cos I believe it to be full of pikey little cyber brats that can't travel outside of the capital. But that's just my opinion.

 

Anyway, at Peach Vs. Slinky, I caught two little ben sherman's starting on a couple of my mates. I stepped in, perhaps using the word 'cunt' more than I should, and got started on myself for my trouble. Only time I've ever experienced trouble like that in a club.

I've been going to MoS for about 4 years now and I've never had much trouble, but the bouncers aren't the best there, and obviously this lot were on a major power trip. It's pretty disgraceful, you should email Frantic as it's them you won the comp from, and MoS.

 

It was really full in there, and q a few people complained it was too hot and they got pushed about......

 

Personally, I really enjoyed it, thought the music was amazing, and stayed from start to finish.

 

Prob with MoS is that, as it's such a famous venue, you'll always get a big crowd in there, and often not all regulars from the night in question, but that's the same with any night there, be it Euphoria or regular MoS nights.

I enjoyed sunday night but would definitely agree that it was way too hot in there & the security staff inside were very rude.

 

Nice club shame about the staff. If thats the way you get treated when you go there then its put me off.
