Do u stick to one type of music

When u go out clubbing do u stick to one type of music when choosing which club, like only go to hardhouse events?

 

I really like doing a variety of events cos it makes a change from the norm but cos of having to go to Sundissential a lot and just most my mates going to hh nites I don't seem to get to do anything. The last non-hardhouse nite I went to was either Peach or Passion bout Feb time.

 

I used to go to such a variety like would go to d'n'b nites and hardcore nites.

When ive gone away with CTW (which unless its a local event, then i always go with u slags)

 

then its the same as Jan, Passion PVD was the "alternative"

 

I go to D&B / trance etc locally with my mates tho!

I've been to a d'n'b nite with Shen off the board and apart from trance nites all the others are hardhouse. Not that I'm complaining, just been listening to hardcore tonite and realised how long its been since I last went to a night.

if im going out to a DANCE nite it has to be hardhouse or hardtrance, but getting into hardcore a bit now, im pretty narrow-minded like that.

 

but i can fit in just as well in some indie/rock nite and went to see a Nirvana tribute band a few months back!

 

Music taste CD collection wise is even more varied, more prepared to listen to other stuff at home, i'm a freak i s'pose

Well, I went to Gods @ NEC aa fortnight ago, and spent half my time inthe trance room

Last week I went to Sundissential

And this weekend I am going to a gothic/industrial night, and then hopefully on to Club414

 

I am just so cosmopolitan!!

im into my HH and Funky house, but find when i'm out i get bored of the Hard house a lot of the time. End up going to quite a few 'cheesy nights' as a change, and some indie nights! it's nice to have the getaway!

Rarely go to hardhouse/trance nights unless im djing now as I get sick of hearing the same tunes over and over

 

Im usually found bopping away at techno/funky house nights cos I love those styles to bits as well

 

Only problem there though, whenever I go to a techno night, I contemplate giving up on DJing - techno DJs are ridiculously talented and piss over any other hard dance DJs from a great distance

I'm a Slinky kid by nature, so that's my hard house/trance hit.

 

I also go to DnB nights in Bournemouth, promote a Funky house/prog night down here as well, and like a bit of hip-hop.

 

 

I think that every night I go to I learn something about music or DJing, whether it's a style of mixing, a good label name or a way of moving a crowd. It's all good.

I also managed to get a double CD of Armand Van Helden remixes for £1.99 in the HMV sale a while ago.

 

Professional Widow, Spin Spin Sugar, and that insane CJ bolland remix. All quality tracks!
