well heres the facts....

 

 

Having having money difficulties at the end of last year i decided to get another lodger. hopefully someone that would be as much of a friend and as reliable as steph is.

 

My mortgage was in arrears.

 

jilly moved in on 27th december 2003

 

After sorting out a job which convieniently earned her enough money to go out at weekends, but not pay me any rent, leaving me to sit at home skint i got a bit miffed and wrote out a tenancy agreement.

(notice i wasnt there for the wildchild weekender, but she was!) this happened 3 weeks in a row.

 

pointing out and trying to be as fair as i could by writing off what she already owed me, rent was officially supposed to start getting paid on 19th feb. in advance for the week ahead.

 

£260 a month or £60 a week. always in advance.

 

when it came to march she had no money for me so i threatened to kick her out. Cue 'poor little mistreated Jilly' act.

 

My mortgage was in arrears still. And they were starting to get threatening about it.

 

She begged to let me stay and asked to be able to pay me for march and april on april 1st. (£520). Because she had just started her new wonder job, i gave in and let her stay. Me and steph having to provide for her for the month of march.

 

In the week up to the first of april i constantly reminded her i would settle for no less than £520, which she PROMISED me i would get on the 1st.

 

The 1st comes and she transfers £420 into my account. She says the Other £100 will be in the next day.

 

My morgage gets up to date. but the £100 fails to appear, just more excuses, and im once again left selling my stuff to support myself.

 

I dint kick her out because i felt i couldnt. Not with her getting on so fabulously at her 'NEW WONDERJOB'. i thought it would make me the lovely person.

 

Well last week of april comes along. On the first of May she will owe me £360 if she wants to stay till end of may.

 

On the tuesday, she gets sacked from her 'WONDERJOB'. Reason.. for pulling too many sickies on mondays.

 

Ive been telling her the last week how badly i need the FULL £360 for saturday. She gives me BIG promises all week. On friday night i ask for it.

She tells me she will transfer it over after she gets in the cab that taking her away for a weekend of partying.

 

Saturday morning. I find £240 in my account. i ask why ... she tells me she didnt get paid enough can she give it to me next week when she 'sorts it all out'.

 

Once again i'm left having to use my money to pay what i got lodgers in for. leaving myself skint while shes out partying.

 

It the so quickly broken promise that insults. She has totally gone against what she said she would do for the umpteenth time.

 

I sent her a text saying dont bother coming back here. Im gonna bag up her stuff over the weekend and leave it somewhere, i dont know where.

 

What money she has given me, (£100 was owed to me anyway) £120 can be for the period when me and steph supported her. IE January and February.

 

 

Am I being a Cnut?
