Whos doing Ibiza this year?

I'm going Ibiza again in September! Tbh I'm only going coz thats where my mates r going - I'd prob b jsut as happy if we were going sumwhere else abroad - prob will go to a couple of clubs - but have already done them all & yeh they r over rated but at least its not all rnb/garage etc like aya napa! Will prob spend most of the time exploring the island, beaches, just chillin etc!

I like relaxing holidays TBH - you can go mental over here every weekend so why go into a different country and do the same.....

 

Any nice hot place i can unwind in would be cool..... would love to go to Egypt though

To be fair if I did go again I'd only bother with Sundays @ Space and Cream @ Amnesia. The others ain't worth it, especially Eden and Es Paradis.

I usually find the people who slag off Ibiza for bring over priced / full of bear boys / 'not as good as it used to be' etc etc are those that stayed in San An during their time there.

 

Try Ibiza town, Bora Bora, Space, Pacha, El Divino, Salinas, Es Cana, DC10, Amnesia, the list is endless. It's a beautiful Island and it has a wicked cosmopolitan vide there.

 

But I suppose if you only like hard house then San an is your only option

I went in 2000, and while i did have a good time, like Maria said, it wasn't the amazing experience that it's cracked up to be

I'm going again this year- renting a five bedroom villa with pool just outside Ibiza Town for a week in July.

 

The comments about beer boys are nothing new- it's always lbeen like that, but as Colin66 says that's only in San Antonio. If you go to Ibiza Town you don't see anything like that- you just have some of the coolest bars around and because it's so gay the burberry boys brigade are scared to go out there...

 

Hmm... I really don't think you can compare any night in England with the best that Ibiza has to offer (and that has never been Eden or Es Paradis- they have always been the arse end of the club world- as, you guessed it, they are in San An).

 

Much as I like Wildchild it doesn't compare to Pacha, Space or Amnesia in full flow or even DC10 to tell the truth.

 

I've said it before on here- yes it is expensive, but that keeps the t*ssers stuck in San An and away from the better clubs. If you drink at home rather than in the clubs you can still have a brilliant time and not too expensiveone... and be honest, how many of us actually DRINK in clubs anyway?

 

At the most clubs are £40 and mostly they are £25 or so- the same as Lashed! was on sunday.

 

I don't believe all that is said about it being 'better back in the day'- I was there ten years ago and it was not too different.

 

If you love house music (and are open minded as it's more tribal, funky and trancey than hard house) then there is nowhere else on earth where it really all is just about the music (you hear tribal house in McDonald's ffs).

Agree with everything Colin says apart from Es Cana.

 

Ibiza is NOT San Antonio - the only decent things in San Antonio are the Radio One Parties near the Windmill, the eerie sunsets and (shock, horror) the line ups at Judgement Sundays.

 

Circo Loco at DC-10 rules and is not that extortionately priced...

 

Aiming for Ibiza in late August/September and Thailand in early July

i went to Ibiza loads as a kid - stayed in St Eulalia on the East coast of the island... pretty chilled and a nice holiday. i'm gonna go back for a week (or 2) clubbing, but I don't think I'd stay in San An - I might as well go to 'Napa'. Looks like Ibiza Town I guess...
