y cant tidy actually release sumthin new and original. theres plenty of budding harddance producers out there doing quality productions, plus tinrib has shut down so there is room to move into a gap in the market (and imo now that tinrib recording have closed here is a gap!) so i really dont think tidy have ne excuse 4 this kinda lazy behaviour

tidy wouldnt move into the tinrib area as they wouldnt make any money, thats the reason tinrib shut

there are other labels tho filling the void of tinrib. vicious circle for starters, especially with their release every 3 weeks plan they trying to implement

i do know where you're coming from with this...but having another TDV tune released cant be a bad thing.

 

anyway, yeah, tidy are clutching very tightly to a few producers for original work - which is a shame as there are plenty of peeps out there who can deliver the goods.

 

the rest of tidy's releases do tend to be licensed, or as some people say 'stolen' , and then remixed from other smaller labels.

 

one reason Tidy wont touch smaller producers for original work is they arent keen on 'one offs', they'd much prefer to sign you and have you make lots of good tunes - hence the likes of Maddox, Guyver and recently Pasch working for them.

 

hey ho, there u go! just some thoughts, but yeah, some variety and more originallity or dare i say 'risk taking' would be good!

Agree with you mate, Tidy have changed alot. A few years ago I had a one off release on tidy, and they were happy with that, but since then i have sent them more stuff and they arent as interested. Like you said they want to keep to their label stable (Maddox, Pasch, Guy etc)

too damn true - i prefered them a couple of years back, but the label's attitude & style has changed, maybe for good, maybe for bad

 

think it has a lot to do with the fact they are so bloody big now they cant afford to take risks, if that makes sense

personally i think its more risky tidy only realseing from a handful of artists as its kinda putting all thier eggs in 1 basket

im in 2 minds over it tbh... absoultly LOVE the original, and some Guyver stuff is pretty good.... but what will the end result be???
