Its totally shite isn't it! Justice never seems to happen does it? It makes you feel like doin somethin yourself to people like this.

 

If it is definately the caretaker as well he will still be fairly young when he gets out (if he gets convicted in the first place) with plenty of life left to live.

the fact that's its going to take so long to identify the bodies means something is very wrong.

 

I don't even want to think about, it turns my stomach to imagine that someone could do something to a couple of ten yr olds. Personally, I'm in favour of like for like punishment.

Only thing thats ever worried me about the death penalty are people (imagine if it ever happened to you) that are wrongly accused and later found not guilty after its too late - imagine the fcukin mayhem that'd cause

believe or not i wouldn't want to see these people die. I would prefer it for them to be locked away for ever. Taking away someones freedom is probably the worse thing someone can do.

You're probably right I just think that inflicting pain on them and making them suffer would be more fitting at the mo, especially cus prison seems so cushy for them......murderers, rapists and paedophiles are seperated from the other inmates and get extra priveliges, its just so wrong

 

Plus they wont have their freedom took away for long enough and with them being young will probably still be in their 30s when they get out

K I accept that maybe I could be bitter and that but I do stick by 'an eye for an eye' maybe if they knew that their life would be a living hell, if they committed such crimes then it would act as a deterrent. Especially because most paedophiles (and other similar criminals) expect to get caught and accept the idea of prison.

ahhh the old 'eye for an eye'. so if someone is found of man slaughter they should die too? The reason that isn't in practice today as it doesn't work, as it flawed!!

 

I mean like i said eye for an eye only makes you as bad as the person you're about to punish, and that doesn't say much about you would it?

 

I mean we're now starting to find out that maybe, just maybe, these people can't help it that it is some link to their genetic make up. I mean if this is the case then the law system is gonna be pretty [censored] up. No longer will you send a person to prision but rather you'll stick them on some medication. We know that psycopaths are usually linked to some brain problem in the frontal lobe.

 

You can't let bitterness dictate your actions as one day you might be on the recieving end.

We talk about reabilitation & counciling for these sick offenders - WHY?

 

Once a person has crossed that boundry, surley they can't take a step back. I know I'm not explaining myself properly. I guess if you think of it this way. You have a door in your soul that is sealed - everyone has it. But some people cross the boundry & open the door, others step thru it. Once the seal has been broken you can't EVER close it again. The seal is broken & irripairable.

 

Look at the Jamie Bulger killers. They are free now. No matter how much counciling they must have had, their heads MUST be [censored] with what they did? Can they really lead a normal life? They will have their own images in their heads they have to contend with, plus feeling like a ticking time bomb, because one day THEY WILL BE FOUND.

ok for example you've stolen something because your hungry. The shop keeper on the other hand wants justice and wants your hands chopped off as he's sick and tired of shop lifters.

 

Is that just? Of course not. Is it just to kill or torture someone because they did something that was wrong. no. Like i said if we torture them or kill them we only make ourselves as bad as them.

 

I mean look at America they have the death sentance but does it stop people from killing each other??? No, so what does it prove to torture them or take your anger out on them? None. I mean don't do what you wouldn't want done to you.

 

I'm not saying what they did was right, it was far from that. But also remember torturing or taking anger out on them wont bring them back now matter how much.
