Went to a few last summer, their wicked as long as the weathers nice. Always have gr8 fun trying to find them, always ended up following cars about for hours. Definitely worth it though.

Yup there's been loads o free parties been on this summer in the area, but I ain't managed to catch any. Have either not known about them until afterward, not had a way of getting there, or been doing other stuff, or not even been in the area at all. Although there's another one on the 21st which I just heard about which I'll try and get along to. Don't have a car, so it better not be far out of town!
