browser crashing

Does anyone else have problems with their browser crashing on them when about to make a post? I press the post button and the PC stops responding for a few secs before IE gets shut down.

 

Netscape works OK though.

 

Internet Explorer doesn't normally crash for me (it just grinds to a slow crawl instead!) so I don't know why it's just happening with this site, although it is only occasionally.

If its only doing it when your posting then there's a bug along the line in your part somewhere.

since the CTW forum software switched over, my browser (IE) is now crashing a lot when i try to post. i tried switching to mozilla and that seems to help but with mozilla i have a bunch of other problems 8-(

 

so it's not just you...

So it isn't just me.

 

I was just wondering if it was happening to anyone else. The only thing I can see that might cause the problem is i have a program installed to stop pop-ups but, I don't think that will be it.

 

Yep anyway, I use netscape now for the forums to get around the problem so it works fine.

It happens to me sometimes as well....not every time I post though, just now and again. Dunno why????

thanks for letting me know about this - one person had mentioned it to me the other day but I thought it was only him having the problem - I will raise this error with the people who wrote the software and see if its something being fixed in the next release.

Yeah that was me, i tried to reply to this last night but i couldnt cos again was havin problems with replyinagain, keeps goin to page cannot be displayed along with crashim my browser, be it IE or aol's browser

I get that problem at times too.

 

When I hit 'post' the browser flashes a different colour, then ALL my internet browser windows shut down.

 

On some machines I use, every time I post it starts up Norton Anti-Virus as well.......
