My phone is busted so I've gota get a new one.

 

At the moment I'm with Virgin Mobile pay as you go.

15p per min for 1st 5mins then 5p per min there after.

text - 10p

Vocie mail - free

 

Anyone know of any good offers around?

I defo want a Nokia handset but don't really mind if its a pay as you go or contract.

 

Any ideas?

Depends how flash you both want to go.

Stick to Nokia though, everything else just can't text as quick, or are easier to use. Ive got an 8850 and its wicked.

I disagree, I've always had Nokias for Years and Years, but last year I got a Sony Ericsson T68i, which is better than any Nokia phone I have ever owned. I don't rate the 8310 cos a few of my mates have had probs with them. The 7650 is too big to be of any use, and the Samsung T100 is crap for texting. If I were you I would wait until the Nokia 7210 is out, cos it looks cool and has loads of features including polyphonic ringtones etc !!! I think thats the next phone I am going to buy, but it will only be on contract !!

I was thinking about a T68i, but why

 

1) pay £130 for a communicam which are sposed to be crap anyway

 

2) have they got that annoying joystick - hear its caused a lot of people a lot of problems.

 

Its personal opinion, but for me, the most annoying thing is the fact that Ericsson's are just too damn slow.

well i would def recomend going with 02 on the net. you get 300 txts per month on pay as you go, they also have lots of cheap offers on phones too.

 

ive got to say i wont ever but a nokia again, i have had 3 in 4 years and they all bust.

 

ive got a motorola now its only little ande was only £69. its got everything i need on it.

Personally i swear by nokia, simply cos they're well designed and easy to use. I've only ever owned nokia's but have used pretty much every phone on the market and haven't been overly impressed with most of them. At the mo i'm using a 6210e cos it's still a blinding phone and can store hundreds and hundreds of names and numbers and about 160 text messages too, which can be handy. Also it can handle high speed data (through orange) so i can dial up from my laptop and get a semi decent connection speed when on the move.

I'm going to probably go for the 7210 next though cos i'm looking for a decent sized phone that can handle MMS (oh and it has a colour screen too) lol. And as for networks, they're all a rip off, so just choose one that you get a decent recetion with when you're in your house.

I got a Sony J70 a few months ago on payasyougo it costs £100 but it's a top phone infact everyone I meet says they want to get one when they see it!

Indeed Becky, but can you text from your landline? You could miss out on many things if you can't receive your texts!
