Notwithstanding my pervious definition of CLUBBER, not proper or otherwise, and peoples obvious desire not be be classified. James has got a point. The reason I am here, on CTW and coming to Frantic, on Saturday, with you guys, and not to some meat market toilet in sutton with my "NON Clubbing or WHATEVER" mates defines me as something.

Dedicated and Proper are obviously too contetious, so how about :

 

CONSTANT CLUBBER.

 

I was in Paris two nights back , at a loose end, so i persuaded the guy's I was with to come to the Buddah Bar, which plays Arabian House. This is not the sort of behaviour you find displayed by many people. But defines me. I think.

 

You know which of your mates are up for it, reliable, eat live and breath it, ie are constant, and which don't. Constant is a pretty good definition in my mind

i dont think of myself as a proper clubber, im more the alternative clubber.. i go to rock/punk clubs.

good question Sophie after reading all the interesting replies i was a little screwed up , coz i was wondering well wot am i ? i love the music and dancing and the people too ... , we are all after all individuals and thats what makes it [censored] from the guy off his tits standing on his head in the corner to the dj,s .. maybe im too simple but i look around ctw and i just see a groovy bunch of clubbers , complete with colorful characters .... i say take a bow peeps , your all such a great bunch group hug and i think James is right in defining dedicated clubber from proper clubber.....and everyone accepts everyone whether dedicated or not, and thats what makes ctw so special ...so friendly and nice..... so i figure if someone likes clubbing that makes them a clubber while dedicated just defines how much they live for it without taking anything away from other clubbers

Dedicated or Proper, whatever, come and live in Jersey for 6 months, and you will struggle to be a clubber of any nature!

 

The sky high cost of flights to get orf this darn rock means it's not easy to fulfill ones desire to ave it large every week.

 

I would describe myself as;

"An up for it clubber who makes up for the enforced abstinence given the chance"!

 

For instance, the highlight of Jersey Life (since Ibeeza 1st Week Sept), presents itself this Friday in the shape of Judge Jules 12:00 til 2:00am (close).

 

So,

 

Is it possible to be a dedicated/proper/ whatever clubber when there is nowhere to club??????

Clubbing is just an enjoyable pastime at the end of the day and about being out with mates, having a laugh.

 

Not a competition against others.
