It seems the start of May’s Bank Holiday did little to distract most of you from your midweek stomp. Ingo made his debut last week and came and torn the place apart with CDR after CDR of his new production. This week, we step up on the hard theme and welcome back Tara Reynolds. Tara’s technique and relentless pounding output have seen her grow out and beyond the London scene where she made her mark. Firmly established as one of Tidy’s most popular DJ’s, she spins here, there and everywhere. Followers of her production will note ‘Mercy’ as being one of her finest outings, although listeners should check awesome remixes that she’s turned in recently - ‘Hackney Funk’ on Energy UK and ‘More Drugs’ (forthcoming on Deprivation) are two examples. Assisting in warm up duty is El Captino, who has more than impressed each and every time he’s been given that task. I complete the main room lineup. As well as Sessions’ favourites Filthy Rich and Nick Brown in House Sessions, we welcome the ‘Naked Basslines’ crew into our humble backroom. Regarded as one of the city’s quickest growing brands, Naked Basslines continue their infamous parties at the Mint club - we welcome their arrival. Drinks continue as low as a measly pound!
