I disagree with any kind of dress code for clubbing, at the end of the day, what difference does it make what people are or are not wearing...come 3 o'clock most of the clubbers wont be able to focus on you, never mind what clothes you are wearing!!

That promoter was being well out of order, they should have made a statement on the flyer if they didnt want ppl in cyber turning up!

yeh totally, but ive always liked the fact that especially with London clubbing, you can be pretty much who you like & wear what you want, but this guy went to an event in London, in cyber shorts & top & he & his friends were asked to leave as the promoter does not want that type of person in there event, this was a HH event also, I just think it is wrong that people can be discriminated because of clothes!!

not quite cyber shorts.

he wore fetish gear

yep exactly Alex, but what gets me in all this, is they were happy to take these peoples cash on the door etc & then boot them out, knowing full well what they were wearing on entering the club, jeez many people offend me whilst out, didnt realise a simple grummble to the promoter could have them thrown out rolleyes.gif

he and all his mates were refunded in full, including cloak room fees

Hmmm well maybe they had a point! Its good that they gave him the money back, but the door staff should have really dealt with it when he first arrived! rolleyes.gif

I got knocked back from hed kandi last week, due to my attire, and i wore exactly the same outfit i wore the previous time. But some lovely person on a power trip said i couldnt go in because i wasnt suitably dressed to enter his club. Apparently this prick was always at the door for crasher too, and was a twat then aswell.

I was a bit pissed and wasnt exactly pleasant with him, the bouncers were all like 'sorry what he says goes' i think one even said he thought i was fine to go in. We all got our ticket money back and went elsewhere.

But we had our night ruined by some jumped up prick who thought he was ace. The twat.

I think that clubbers should be allowed to wear what they like, feel comfortable in. As said previously come 3am, nobody cares what your wearing, and usually your outfit looks nothing like the one you entered the club in.

my point exactly Aaron, TBH Phil, that could be classed as fetish or cyber & as I say if a girl was to show up wearing it, it's doubtful she'd get treated the same eh tongue.gif

I think it's fair enough- I no more want to see a girl with her flaps hanging out than a bloke in a pair of y-fronts... maybe at torture garden or somewhere like that but not at a normal night...

just seen it...

generally i don't really mind (even though I'm not a fan of cyber it doesn't bother me)...

... I think what he was wearing was crap though- imagine seeing his sweaty packet all night?

I'd feel the same if a woman was wearing a lace thong or similar
