As a celebration of getting rid of him, and also a kinda farewell, us London lot are gonna be out Wednesday night from about 7pm for a few bevvies and mucho frolics all round. As usual, gonna be meeting at Charing Cross at 7, moving on shortly thereafter to the Pitcher and Piano. Come along, bring a poncho. CTW Promotors ElsxBells Posted October 7, 2002 CTW Promotors Share Posted October 7, 2002 Well for me it'll only take 20-30 minutes to walk to Charing Cross from [censored]. So that'll be easier than trying to fight the crowds to get home in rush hour. But don't want to be the only one there!!! Hopefully they'll come to some type of settlement and cancel the strike anyway!!

CTW Promotors ElsxBells Posted October 7, 2002 CTW Promotors Share Posted October 7, 2002 Believe me, you're lucky not to be here when the tube strikes are on. It gets like a battlefield at the bus stops~ they have police to control crowds at the busy ones!!!! You'll be back soon~ for Tidy or XLR8
CTW Members Tara Posted October 8, 2002 CTW Members Share Posted October 8, 2002 Where abouts exactly in charing cross are you meeting????
CTW Members big_ee69 Posted October 8, 2002 CTW Members Share Posted October 8, 2002 Guy's 1) No strike has been announced, and it's too late for them to hold one on Wednesday, so no need to worry about that, 2) As usual, gonna be meeting at Charing Cross at 7, moving on shortly thereafter to the Pitcher and Piano. The translation of 'West End Boy's' directions for anyone who doesn't spend their life "Up West" is we are meeting at the front entrance of Charing Cross British Rail Station, so that you are facing the Strand and the road that leads to Embankment underground and Heaven is on you right, at 7.00. 3) But don't worry if your late cos we'll be going to the Pitcher and piano, William the 4th street, which you can reach through the walkway you'll see that is opposite the entrance to charing cross station. The walkway has statues, and an entrance to charring cross underground on it. If you get lost just ask some Cheeky Cockney Chappie the way to the Pitcher and Piano near Charing Cross Road / St Martin's lane. Later ian
