One random but very specific enquiry:

 

There's a bar in Soho, on Frith St. (No. 25 I think!) which used to be called Cafe Latino and is now known as The Lodge. I can't get a telephone number for it anywhere and I wondered if any of you London lot knew it, knew where to get it or could possibly get hold of it for me...

If you could I would appreciate it greatly.

I'm in soho on Wednesday so I'll take a wander down Frith Street and have a look for you, cos to be honest, I've never heard of that bar and I've used a few of my contacts that know most of the bars, and none of them know of it either. Hopefully on Wednesday we'll all know whare it is!

Nick - if you're still in the area tomorrow and passing by Lodge, any chance you could duck your head inside and check out the vibe? A mate's looking for a pre-club venue for his b'day and he liked Latino, but is unsure what the new ownership is like... I'd appreciate it.
