Yay, I've got a phone again!!!

Can't work out how to put the damn thing on silent tho so no-one text me while I'm still at work!

That narrows it down!!!

 

I know that for the Samsung e700 you have to go in to the sounds settings menu & turn incoming calls & messages to No Tone.

 

I'd say it's pretty much the same for other Samsung fones too!

only thing i can get into is my (empty) phone book or my (empty) message box!!!

When you open the phone has it not got "Menu" in the bottom left hand corner & "Phonebook" in the bottom right hand corner.

Yeah...& when I press the buttons on that side of the phone it says no entry or takes me to my messages!!

You should be able to click on the top left hand button, which sould take you to the first page of your menu which is the Messages page. From there you then click on the left or right arrow keys which are in the top middle of your key pad. That should take you along to the different pages in your phone.

 

 

Try that & see where it takes you!!

with a samsung holding down the # key for a few seconds should set it to silent/vibrate mode
